You may be aware that the NHS is currently experiencing a widespread ransomeware cyber-atack. We appear to have been affected by this as we have no access to our patient record system this morning. Our phone lines are also currently not working. It appears that other practices in town are also affected.
We have procedures in place to manage this situation and we have printed lists of patients how have booked for the next few days. If you have an appointment we will still be able to see you but please bear in mind that we will not have access to all of your records and will have to hand write any prescriptions. It is likely that we will be running late as a result.
We are hoping that the IT department will have us back up and running by Monday morning but may experience delays in the early part of the week.
