The practice is in the process of working towards becoming a veteran friendly Practice. The Royal College of General Practitioners provide help and support to practices to allow them to become accredited as a veteran friendly practice.
If you are a veteran there is extra support available and you may be able to receive priority access to NHS hospital care for conditions associated to your time within the armed forces (service related) when this is clinically needed.
The first step to this is to have the fact your are a veteran recorded in your clinical records. We will be working to identify patients who are veterans in the coming months, but if you are a veteran please notify the team when you are next accessing services at the practice.
