The nurse prescribers at the practice offer daily minor ailment clinics. They also offer a number of chronic disease clinics for the annual review of patients and monitoring of their conditions.
The practice nurses are available by appointment for general health advice, dressings, travel advice and immunisation and baby clinic.

Healthcare Assistant
Mrs Janice Murphy – NVQ3 Health Care, Dip Nutrition
The health care assistant is available daily from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30 to 5.30pm. She may be able to help with blood pressure, simple dressings and routine health checks. Please make an appointment at reception.

The work of the practice is greatly assisted by the help received from district nurses, district midwives, health visitors, community psychiatric nurses, Macmillan nurses, coronary heart disease nurses, practice pharmacists and elderly care nurses. Contact with any of these agencies can be made through the receptionist.
